Gary M. Reiser, D.D.S., completed a two-year postdoctoral residency in periodontology at Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry; and a one-year surgical internship as well as a two-year tournas commanding dental officer with the U.S. Army.. Dr. Reiser is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology and has been a very active participant in the periodontal community.
An AAP member for more than 35 years, Reiser has served in numerous capacities including as a member of the Board of Trustees, chair of the Dental Care Committee and member of the Long Range Planning Committee and Continuing Education Oversight Committee. In addition to his service to the Academy, Reiser is currently chairman of the American Board of Periodontology, member of the Massachusetts Dental Society, North Shore District Dental Society, and the Greater Boston Dental Society.
He is an Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Periodontology, Tufts University and has presented numerous invited lectures on the subject of surgical periodontal therapy and its impact on esthetic andrestorative dentistry for dental groups around the world. Dr. Reiser has published several articles andhas also written two textbook chapters on the relationship between periodontal and implant surgery and the restorative treatment plan. He is an active member of the Dental Surgery Departments at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and Atlanticare Medical Center in Lynn, MA.
Dr. Reiser has a private practice in periodontology and implantology in Swampscott, MA, practing together with Roger Wise, D.D.S, James J. Hanratty, Jr., Jr., D.D.S.and Myron Nevins, D.D.S.
